"Yeah, if Juno's down with that I'd be happy to hang out with both of you sometime. Having heard so many good things," Erran said. He liked Juno as a matter of principle, since she was Marco's friend and had been so loyal to him through everything.
He listened as Marco talked about the dream and Oliver's comment. "Okay, that makes sense. It'd probably be hard to do Oliver much damage with a punch in the arm, but still. Maybe it's better to communicate with words in that sort of situation, even if it's just 'hey, not cool.' There's actually a pretty simple technique to use on nightmares, if you wanted to work on that—my meds give me a lot of bizarre dreams so I know the struggle."
When Marco asked about the pig parasites he shook his head. "No—well, tapeworms and stuff are real but telepathic ones, no." There were actually some interesting behavioural and psychological symptoms of parasitism in humans, but Marco hadn't really been asking about that so Erran spared him. "I hate to feel suspicious of people in a place this small, but it's kind of true, someone here is bad. I'm hoping that Owen's patrols will help discourage the messed up stuff that's been happening, or at least catch whoever it is in the act. Seems like a good idea."
