Who: Erran and Marco When: Around 12:30 Where: Erran's room
Despite having gone to bed sandwiched between two people, Marco woke up alone, late in the morning, with the only sign that anyone had been there that morning being being breakfast left in the usual place for him by Oliver. He expected to find something on the network hinting at today's disaster, but all there was was two new people, and a note from Daphne saying she might be throwing a party. None of that sounded too bad, mostly because he wasn't sure any of it really effected him.
Maybe it would soon, though. He felt pretty good today. A little shaky, but if that was the worst of it, that was a good day, right? He'd been out of his room for a good chunk of the day before, and if he hadn't had a nightmare, he might have made it through the night. He vaguely remembered getting mad at Oliver the night before for a second, before both him and Juno again promised to protect him. He'd heard it from them before, but something had changed. This time, maybe he believed them. Or maybe he was finally starting to see again that he didn't need to worry.
Things weren't back to normal yet, but Marco was feeling good enough to tell Erran about it, and when Erran had replied and said that they should talk, Marco wasted no time heading over to the man's room. He showed up still in his pajamas, a set of green scrubs, despite the fact that it was now afternoon. He didn't much care, he just didn't want to stay in the hallway for too long. Being out of his room with his friends was one thing, but standing out there in the open still kind of gave him goosebumps.
He knocked on Erran's door, then pressed his ear to it. Maybe he should have actually replied to Erran to let him know he was actually getting up right then.
