Oliver managed another glance in Cecilia's direction as she quieted, and he gave her a long moment before stifling a smile. His nostrils flared, and he leaned up a little, sniffing at the air.
"You smell that?" He made sure the question didn't sound alarmed, figuring any time was too soon to make the poor girl think there was another fire to deal with. He didn't wait too long to chime in again for that very same reason. Shaking his head, he settled back down again, this time not bothering to hide his smirk. "Nevermind. Think it's just the smoke comin' off all those gears turnin' somethin' fierce in that pretty head of yours. You can say whatever it is. No one here's gonna judge you, right Pup?" He dangled his fingers toward the dog, who sniffed once, licked and then settled again. That statement, of course, didn't include the eyes and ears behind the camera, but if he wasn't going to take that into strong consideration before, he didn't really feel like it now.
