"I don't know that cold weather would be detrimental to paint ball, as long as we beat the snow," Cecilia replied, partially thinking out loud. "Those suits they gave us are pretty warm, and mine was baggy enough that I could have bundled up underneath it if I had to." She thought about it a moment longer. "Actually, this kind of weather is perfect for it. You gotta be more careful not to crunch on leaves, leave tracks, that kind of thing." It was then that she realized Oliver had a far-off sort of look and a little grin; it was clearly the kind of look that meant something interesting was happening in his brain. "Hey," she said, nudging his side. "You still with us?"
Cecilia thought for a moment on both Kate and Kiley's injuries, and gave a little shrug. "As long as they keep the wounds clean, all that matters is whether or not it pains them. They should be healing pretty well by now. If we decided to do this anyway and Kate really wanted to go, I could give her something for the pain."
