Lennon was glad to drop the subject of who he might have a crush on; it felt too high-school. Admittedly, he was only six years removed from that age group, but still. Saying it out loud wouldn't help anything, would only make him feel stupid. It wasn't that he didn't trust Kiley, but that he simply didn't want to talk about it with anyone.
"Chase brought me a knife and a hammer," he said when Kiley asked about weapons. "That was the first thing I wanted to get my hands on."
