"I'd just use it as a pillow like I did the other one," Lennon said. There was something inside him that would not let him put on a onesie, unless maybe he was using it for a Halloween costume. Honestly he'd thought Juno looked cute in hers, and Marco did too, in his way. But anyway, onesies were not his thing.
He was pleased when Juno got closer to him, putting her arms around him. "And I will be," he said. There was nothing around here they could count on, not for sure, and thus far, friendship had been the only thing. It felt safer to have at least a few people to be there for and vice versa. It meant a lot to him that she'd come to him when she'd needed someone, and he didn't know how he could even express that. Maybe the two of them being here together this close would do it. Words were just words. Actions meant more.
