Lennon was well aware that it didn't matter what people said much of the time. What mattered was what they did, how they acted toward you. He'd grown up with that hard lesson, being told one thing and shown something else. He wanted to do his best to show the people he cared for that he cared, whether he said the words or not. Maybe one day Juno would believe him.
"Hey, I should change my network name to that," he said. "Dragon Heart." It was really a great compliment, and those were always great to get around here.
He grinned at her when she started laughing at what he'd said. "Whatever floats my boat," he agreed.
