Chase was grinning now, not just that they were planning all the things they could do when and if they got out, but that it was happening while they were both doing the exact same thing. He tugged his other sock on, his head ducking slightly as he shrugged a shoulder. He was about to tell her that Syracuse was about seven hours or so from the city, but they could always take the train, and that he'd always wanted to do that, but stopped himself when Kiley got up.
The smile was gone in an instant, and he followed her up off the bed to begin a walk around the perimeter of the room, sniffing at the air.
