Chase's smile was slightly shy as he set down the last caltrop, shifting his socks and boots into one hand and sliding the other into Kiley's. He shook his head at her question, carefully maneuvering a finger from his boot to close the door behind them, turning the knob a little to make sure it locked. "No, it was strategically smart. I mean, there were four of us. If everyone voted for someone else then no one would have won. I'm pretty much always going to vote for you, and you voted for you, so that probably would have meant you'd have gotten the reward if They weren't being....Them. If I'm pissed it's because they kind of screwed you out of winning for once. It's bullshit."
He sniffed at the air in the hall before looking to her, curling his fingers lightly against hers. "Do you smell anything out here? Maybe it's coming from someone else's room."
