Chase shifted slightly in a way that definitely didn't exactly read as "discomfort" when Kiley sniffed him, trying to fight the twitch at the corners of his mouth considering the situation. Kiley was obviously uncomfortable, and the fact that he wanted to kiss her was probably pretty inappropriate. He also reminded himself that he hadn't brushed. He did his best to school his expression when she stepped away, but couldn't help the slight feeling of disappointment when she did. When she explained, he frowned, stepping away to open the windows, hoping that whatever it was would drift out.
"I'm gonna brush my teeth and then we can go, okay? Maybe it's just something in here." Though it was strange that she was smelling it and not him. Maybe it had just been upstairs?
