"Then don't go," Oliver replied with a shrug, nonchalantly shaking off all of the brown leaves to get back to the two pristine ones he'd found. He did pick two from the pile Marco had dropped in his arms, to at least show him that he was capable of helping, even if the monster load hadn't been productive. It hadn't at all been lost on him why Marco wouldn't want another group meal, even as he'd stated the plan for the leaves, but the fact that Marco hadn't actively blown up about it wasn't a bad sign.
He crossed to the other side of the road, this time refraining from ducking into the trees, instead simply scouring the edge for more leaves that would work. He found another one well within the parameters of Marco's limitations, though the pickings were pretty slim. "I don't even know what he's thinkin' about makin'. Don't get to talk to him too much. Seems like an okay guy, though." He held up a bright red leaf, smiling like he'd won a toy out of a claw machine. "Look'it that one."
