"I'm not gonna let them either." Juno whispered to Marco before standing up to go get a towel from Marco's room. Just as she was about to, Erran arrived and took over trying to get Pam to keep calm, while Juno looked at the door that opened behind Marco to see Kate for a second before she disappeared and came back out with a towel for her. Juno took the towel, nodding in Kate's direction, and looked back at the door. An involuntary shiver ran down her spine. She had done a lot of things but pull a knife out of an octopus and wrapping its mangled corpse in a towel had never been one of them.
She approached the door slowly, swallowing bile and scrunching up her face. Looking up at the octopus, Juno's heart sank. "Oh Jeez. Okay. Okay okay, let's- do- this." she let out forcefully, pulling the knife while she held the towel under the octopus so it fell mostly onto it and her arm. Barely looking down, Juno dropped the knife on the floor and wrapped the octopus as quickly as possible - and completely. It felt disgusting, obviously, and Juno did everything she could not to show how grossed out she was. "Oh God, okay, it's down."
She turned back around to look at everyone else, holding the octopus quite like a baby, a detail she tried to ignore for her own sanity. In all fairness she had no idea how to hold a dead octopus, especially while trying to shield it from the eyes of its former owner and someone who was triggered by the animal. "What, uh...what do? Now?" Good, now she had forgotten how to speak. "Back in the freezer?"
