Who: Lennon and Tobias Where: Tobias' room to start When: around lunchtime
Lennon had spent late morning until nearly noon working on a project in the crafting room. He'd talked to Kiley about making a copy of the map for Chase, and he'd figured that could be something he could work on quietly. After the day before, he had no interest in doing anything active. After two go-rounds with it, if he never saw a treadmill again it might be too soon. Who spent two hours on one of those things? Not him, at least not willingly. As he sat and first planned out how he wanted his map to look and then drew it, he was aware that his legs still felt a little shaky even after a full night's sleep. Thighs of steel in development, or so he told himself.
He discovered that he really liked what he'd come up with. It didn't look like Chase's map, of course, not in the execution or the finer details, but he'd known he wouldn't be able to make an exact copy. He had artistic skill, so it looked good, and he hoped that it would be meaningful to Chase that he'd drawn it for him. There were bits of color here and there for an abstract effect, and Lennon could even mat it if Chase wanted. Maybe he'd needed a project to work on, because he felt fairly content as he finished up and found a large manila envelope into which to put the map.
As he got up, stretching, he realized that Tobs' room was right next door. They were overdue for hangs, so he decided he'd go over and show Tobias his map, maybe see if he wanted to grab lunch or something. Once he was at his friend's door, he tapped on it softly. "Knock knock," he said, raising his voice a little so Tobias would hear him.
