When Aspen's hand landed on his back, Marco flinched and took a step away from her. He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath through his nose. "Please, just, don't touch me right now, okay?" he whispered, and shot Juno a look to let her know that that applied to her as well. To further shield himself from them, he pulled his hood up over his head.
Pam bristled, before forcing her way out of Oliver's grasp. Her face was red from crying, and biting on her lip only barely kept her sobs at bay as she approached Aspen, pointing with her free hand. "Excuse me!" she barked, her voice raspy and high. "I've never even talked to you before, and I don't even care what you have to say, so you can just keep your mouth shut! Especially if you're going to Pam me like that!" She swung her finger around to Juno, including her now. "How dare you. It wouldn't matter if Hathaway was an octopus or a snake or a god damned chupacabra right now, he was my pet, so don't you dare tell me it's fine that he's dead because he's scary. I get that he's afraid of them, but I'm still allowed to be mad at him. I'm allowed to be sad! And angry! You don't get to tell me that I'm wrong for being upset and confused about what happened! It just happened two minutes ago so let me react! You two can shut right the hell up! Just stop talking! I hate you people and I want to go home!"
Then she took a deep breath, and went right back to sobbing. She turned back to Oliver, but rather than fall back into a hug, she grabbed his hand and tugged him into her room to see the note and the scene firsthand. She didn't want Juno, or Aspen, and especially not Marco, in her room.
