Who: Group #4 (Gemma, Audrey, Roman, Edwin, Georgie) When: 9AM Where: Room 4: Pegs of Doooooom
Edwin had never woken up in this room. He knew about it. He'd heard about it in passing. He thought he'd mentally prepared to wake up in this place, and he'd be okay when it came to a challenge. It was a great idea, but reality was different. Waking up alone in the small room was jarring, and instantly made him wonder if this was where people went when they were removed from the house. Was everyone else locked in tiny, windowless, bathroomless cells? Was he alone? Was someone like Maurya or Juliet locked in a similar room on the other side of the wall?
Rather than knock on the wall to test this, he held his breath and tried the door, which thankfully opened. Okay, so it wasn't a nightmarish prison cell. Things were looking up. And there was a bathroom. That was already a big plus. He relieved himself, splashed some water on his face and rinsed his mouth, then went back to the little room after recalling that there was a bag in there, which hopefully had shoes in it. Again, thankfully, it had shoes, and some gym clothes. Again, things could be worse.
He was the first person in the main room. That was fine, since he could hear other people waking up and moving around now. They'd be in the room soon enough, he figured, so they could also stare at the weird poles in the center of the room. Edwin stood near them, staring at them dumbly. He almost laughed when his first thought was pole dance challenge, even though the poles were wrong. He could deal with that challenge, though. It was ridiculous and funny. He had a feeling that they wouldn't be lucky enough for something ridiculous and funny.
