Who: Jack and Cecilia When: Morning Where: Jack's room
Taking the silent message from Owen, Cecilia had quietly excused herself with a light touch on Owen's back and a short glare in Officer Friendly's direction. By the time she went inside Jack was already gone from the kitchen though, so Cecilia was going to have to track him down. She stopped in her room first, having to take the sportsbag she'd turned into her emergency medical supply kit out of the suitcase in her closet. She noticed the laptop wasn't in her suitcase anymore, and that was a bummer, but she'd expected as much anyway. Sighing, she'd shouldered her med bag and headed out in search of Jack's room.
It was an annoying experience. Cecilia had a morning routine that involved going through the house to see who had been removed overnight, and because of this, she had a great handle on where everyone was. That was gone now. They'd moved so many people around that she was going to have to re-memorize it all. Just another annoyance for the building pile of frustration and crap that was her morning. She found Jack's new room on the fourth floor, and boy, did the existence of such a floor make her uncomfortable. As childish as it felt, she'd caught herself treading carefully on the landing, as if she expected the whole thing to come crashing down. She told herself she was being ridiculous, and hurried over to Jack's room where she knocked lightly on the door.
