Kate was glad she didn't actually have to use the skillet on the man; she would have if that had been necessary, but Cecilia had taken care of the man holding him easily enough. With Jack free, and Cecilia and Owen there to handle him, Kate felt free to relinquish the skillet. "You're welcome," she told Jack with a relieved smile, handing him the skillet before cupping the back of his head to pull him down for a kiss on the cheek. "If anyone asks, I'm going after that girl." She'd seen the blonde take off, but she had no shoes and it was cold out. Kate didn't want her wandering town by herself, or worse, trying to run through the pain barrier.
With a brief pat on Pam's shoulder, she turned and headed off after the runaway blonde.
