Marco didn't fight Juno when she attached herself to him, but he shifted so he sat up taller, unsure of how she wanted him to respond. If he wasn't so frazzled, he probably would have hugged her back. It took a moment, but he went back to thinking about how he was supposed to be breathing, then tilted his head so his cheek rested on her hair. There, that felt okay.
"They keep--" he started, then cleared his throat. "They keep putting these things in the house that are things that I would see, you know? It just... It's jarring." He shrugged, but lightly, so Juno wouldn't think that he was trying to push her off. "You sure he didn't do anything to you? You want me to check your head again?"
