"Yeah, that's a good idea," Chase nodded, moving to follow suit and get up and off the bed. For a second he merely stood there with one arm crossed over his chest, rubbing idly at his other bicep. He stared at the spot on the floor where the figure had loomed over Kiley the night before without really focusing on it, supressing a shudder, before he looked back up to her.
"I...think I need to take a bath or something. Just...try to relax for a few minutes or something, not long." He shifted on his feet, suddenly realizing that was something he'd been doing for a while, following up a tense situation with a shower or a bath, even if things seemed okay by the time he got there. Or they got there, most commonly. He looked at his laptop, wondering if he should send a message to Cecilia before he went, then to Kiley. "You're staying in the room, right? I-" He stopped himself, suddenly wondering if the words would sound more needy and pathetic than they already did in his head. "I don't want you to leave without me."
