Cecilia offered help along the way, giving support and cushioning Juno's head so she wouldn't bump it too hard. Her own positioning was a little awkward, and she had a feeling she was going to end up in the tub with Juno before all was done. She wasn't entirely sure how she was going to pull this off on her own, but she didn't feel like there was anyone she could ask for help without adding embarrassment to Juno's situation. If she could do it on her own, she felt like she ought to try. She needed Juno out of the tub, though. It was the only way to examine the extent of her injuries.
"Okay, here's the deal," she decided. "I'm going to have to lift you up, and it'll probably be tense and painful, but I promise I won't let you fall, okay? That's not an option." Cecilia looked Juno in the eyes to be sure she heard that part. "I want you to put an arm around my neck and I'm going to lift you up. I want you to try and keep as much weight off your bad leg as you can, and I'll try to get you off your feet again as quickly as possible. Agreed?"
