Who: Daphne and OPEN! Multiples okay
When: Sunrise
Where: the beach
Daphne could only vaguely recall falling back onto a bed and insisting she was only going to take a quick power nap. For the life of her now she couldn't remember who she'd been talking to, or if she'd even been talking to anyone at all. She'd spent the night dancing and drinking, and she really didn't have any complaints. She'd only awoken at all because she was freezing, but her costume was rather skimpy.
She'd gotten up and wrapped herself in a blanket, her head threatening to start pounding in the dim light. Luckily enough she'd left her drink by the bed, and after gulping the rest of that down and sitting a while she felt much better. Nope, no complaints. None at all.
The sun hadn't fully risen in the sky by the time she left her little cabana to wander around and see what was left of the party. She felt strangely peaceful as she walked barefoot in the sand, trailing her blanket behind her like a cape. Eventually she grabbed a beer and a slice of cold pizza before heading to a hammock to watch the sun rise over the ocean. Daphne sat and rocked gently, nibbling at the pizza and just enjoying the moment. It was a serene sight, and Daphne felt a wholesome sort of goodness about her situation that probably would have horrified anyone that was capable of glimpsing inside of her head.
She'd been annoyed at the loss of her experiment B privileges at some point, but the irritation had been short-lived. She could understand the probable motivation, and in honesty she'd meant what she told Damon. She didn't really feel like she needed them anymore, though they were fun. She decided that she was going to have to do something big soon, to prove to Them that she was still worthy. Just to be sure. She wasn't sure what she'd do yet, but she wasn't worried about it.
All felt right in Daphne's world.
