Funnily enough, Cecilia's line of reasoning in regards to their relationship was very similar to Owen's - not that she had any way of knowing that. After all that had gone down in her world, she'd decided that was it, she was just going to be alone from then out because it was the only surefire way to protect herself. Being in Mount Zenith had made her start to see the possible flaws in that logic, and she knew her feelings for Owen had crossed a line at some point, but she still wasn't willing to follow that path. They'd both been through too much, and she couldn't risk losing his friendship. So she built her mental blanket-fort of denial when it came to her feelings for Owen, and on times like tonight when the fort wasn't on terribly solid ground, she still tried to ignore it all or find excuses around it.
"Right?" Cecilia wrinkled her nose. "I don't even want to think about a Mount Zenith Christmas. It's weird enough that I'm actually enjoying this little vacation. It just feels dirty."
