He supposed she had a point. But in Owen's mind, she wasn't alone anymore. It was damned near impossible to be alone in Zenith. He had attempted it, and failed miserably. Which... wasn't the worst thing in the world.
Owen followed Cecilia's gaze to the bats in the trees. It seemed like TPTB spared no expense for their Halloween party. Hopefully they weren't being taken to an area full of actual corpses. Cecilia's voice drew him back from that disturbing imagery, and he looked at her. "Well, it's harder to push you away when your room is right across the hall from mine," he said jokingly. Then he shrugged softly. "I don't know. You were the only one who wasn't freaking out too much, or not enough. Thought it was smart to stick with you," he added with a small smile.
