Thread: Jensen, Vaughan, Hannon & Colin Who: Jensen Rhodes, Vaughan, Hannon Raleigh and Colin Wright. When: April 18. Afternoon. Where: Hospital. What: Jensen and Vaughan are getting blood taken. Hannon is the nurse on duty. Jensen is a minor, so Colin goes along.
It had all been set up for Jensen and Vaughan to have DNA testing done. Which of course meant that blood samples had to be taken. Which meant a trip to the hospital. Jensen was a minor, so he needed adult accompaniment since his foster father was in New York at the time. Out of the teachers, Jensen had chosen Mr. Wright, because he knew that while Vaughan didn't like him, the English teacher knew Vaughan the best, and there was no need to drag someone else into personal business.
They had an appointment set up for four that afternoon. So there they were, a couple minutes to four, sitting in the waiting room. Mr. Wright was flipping through a newspaper that was left there and surprisingly was current and not from months or years ago. Jensen was too nervous to actually do anything, and none of the magazines lying around appealed to him anyway. He wasn't nervous about the needle itself, but rather what the tests would show - or not show. The fact that they'd have to wait a week or two to even get results was going to be bad enough!
He glanced at Vaughan. "Have you had blood taken before?" he asked his maybe-brother.
