Thread: Jensen & Vaughan Who: Jensen Rhodes and Vaughan. When: April 11. Evening. Where: Their apartment. What: Some possible big news.
Jensen was unnaturally uncomfortable and nervous looking. The normally tranquil young man looked positively anxious as he sat in the apartment and waited for Vaughan to get home work. He had long ago abandoned trying to do school work, or read, or anything that required any mental power at all. Ever since the letter had arrived.
The fact that a letter from his foster father had arrived at all had been strange enough. They did all of their correspondence by email, and Dr. Wilson always let him know if he was sending something by post - a book or some other school material that couldn't go through the computer. And it wasn't Jensen's birthday or anything like that. And it was obviously not a card anyway.
The second strange thing was that the envelope had been sent by express post. Which meant that it contained something of some importance. Jensen had opened it, read it, and it was the contents that had spiked his nerves.
He was nervous, but in an excited-hopeful sort of way. Although he tried to squash that, not wanting to get his hips up in any way. Which was just about impossible given what he had read. He felt all tangled up inside, unsure how to feel, unsure what to do. And so he eventually settled for just sitting on the sofa with the papers in front of him on the coffee table, his hands on his knees, waiting. Every noise made him look up and look to the door, even though he knew what time Vaughan got off work at.
