Thread: Tory & Vaughan & Jensen Who: Tory Gnosis, Jensen Rhodes and Vaughan. When: March 20. Suppertime! Where: Town; Vaughan & Jensen's Apartment. What: Vaughan is returning from work. Tory and Jensen are trying to make supper.
Tory had fallen into a nice little routine while staying at Vaughan's apartment. During the daytime, while Vaughan was off at work, he would spend sometime with Jensen. They would have coversations where Jensen spoke only mentally, and Tory aloud, so if anyone was to see them, it would seem like Tory was speaking to himself and Jensen was ignoring him.
And then around suppertime Vaughan would come home and Tory would pounce on him, but mostly behave himself, unless Jensen happened not to be there. Jensen was rather astute and tended to find some excuse to leave for an hour or so in the evening, going to the library or to the grocery store or on some other errands.
On Friday, Tory and Jensen had been working on homework - Tory on schoolwork for Zener and Jensen on some of the work sent to him by his foster father. They had been quiet for some time, but drifted into conversation about food, and somehow they had decided that they would make some supper for when Vaughan got home.
Jensen had some experience in the kitchen. He could make the most basic of things. Tory had no experience in the kitchen, except for when it came to putting leftovers onto a plate and heating them up.
They went through the contents of the cupboards and fridge and decided on meatless spaghetti with meatballs on the side for Jensen and Vaughan to add in (since it was Friday and Tory couldn't have meat). Tory insisted that the tomato sauce had to be properly made, because it was a travesty to have canned sauce. Together they got tomatoes and other things stewing in a pot, and found things for meatballs (which involved one quick trip to the store for bread crumbs). When suppertime started to roll closer, they had sauce simmering away and meatballs cooking and pasta all ready to be boiled. Tory was somehow streaked with tomato sauce across his cheek, and had breadcrumbs in his hair. Jensen was perfectly neat and tidy, as always.
