Who: Justin and Open Where: Outside. When: After classes What: One of Justin's quieter moments.
It was a quiet day for Justin. He wasn't running after chickens or cooing at them. He wasn't talking about the dangers of llamas. He was bugging Arthur and talking about getting kissed. He was however outside once again. All bundled up as usual. Some people complained about the cold, but Justin liked it. You only had winter once a year so why not enjoyed it while it lasted? And besides, he had enough experience with New York winters.
But the cold and snow was the last thing on his mind. First and foremost was math. Class had been killer, as usual. Justin quickly pushed that thought away and concentrated instead on the second most important thing. Which was Clair and Arthur and whatever it was that was going on. He had been just as suprised as his sister when the kiss happened. Justin just needed to rally his thoughts. Knowing Arthur, the boy would talk circles around him if he opened his mouth to question the incident.
To help him rally and relax, Justin pulled out the slightly crushed packet of cigarettes from his back pocket. He had gone to Arthur's room to pick them and his friend's lighter up. Sticking one between his lips, Justin raised both gloved hands to his mouth. One held the lighter while the other cupped around it to make sure that the small flame didn't snuff out. He lit up and inhaled, playing with the lighter before blowing a trail of smoke into the winter air.
