Log: Molly & Clair Who: Molly Flanagan and Clair Montgeomry-Andrews. When: February 6. Late night!! Well after curfew! Where: School; Justin/Kyle's room. What: The prank war continues.
Molly was grinning and trying to keep from grinning as she and Clair slipped down the hallway in silence towards the boy's dorms. It was hard to keep from giggling, but she was keeping quiet, because it was well after curfew and most people were sound asleep.
She had dressed for quiet movement in a pair of black stretchy exercise pants and a gray long-sleeved shirt, with her bright red hair in two braids. She was holding the things they would need - shaving cream, razors and a bag for clothes.
They reached Justin and Kyle's dorm room and listened at the door to make sure all was quiet. All was quiet! Not a creature was stirring, not even a chicken.
"You take Justin and I'll take Kyle?" she suggested on a barely audible whisper as they slipped into the room courtesy of the key Clair had snagged from her brother.
Clair was feeling all lightheaded and silly at the moment. It was very very difficult to keep from giggling and she pressed her lips together to form an odd sort of grin as they made their way towards Justin's and Kyle's door. Like Molly she was dressed in exercise pants and a long sleeved t-shirt, though she was all in black. Her hair was done up in it's usual sleep braid and she had left the Hello Kitty slippers back in her room. The sight of them would probably make it even harder to keep from laughing.
"Perfect." Clair answered just as softly, flashing a wide grin at Molly. And then they were slipping into the room. She squinted in the semi dark for the sleeping figure of Justin and grinned when she saw that he had made things easier for her since he had kicked back the covers in his sleep...and was wearing bermudas for some silly reason. "If they wake up, we're totally bolting out of here." She whispered to Molly.
Molly bit her lip to keep from laughing as they shut the door quietly behind them so that no one would wander by and wonder why Kyle and Justin had left their door open. Molly tiptoed over to Kyle's bed. She handed one buttom of shaving cream and a razor to Clair, and then turned to Kyle's bed.
Carefully, she tugged down the blanket, and was pleased to find Kyle was wearing boxers (and that he wasn't accidently flashing while wearing those boxers. Major plus there). She uncapped the bottle of shaving cream and set to work, lathering up his legs and starting to shave, as gently as possible. Kyle grunted a little, but otherwise didn't stir. Yet.
There was a soft ruffling sound from the corner of the room that made Clair want to jump and squeal girlishy. It was just the chicken! Just the chicken...there were no captive monsters in her brother's room. At least she hoped not...you could never actually tell with boys. She mirror Molly's movements, reaching out get Justin's kicked blankets out of the way. Her brother was sprawled on his back, which made it all the more easier for her. So far so good, Clair smirked at Justin's sleeping face and thought about how he was going to react in the morning. Glancing over at Molly, she raised an eyebrow when she saw that Kyle was in his boxers and tossed her friend a silly look.
On the bed, Justin buried half his face into his pillow and sleepily mumbled, "No mommy...dun wanna ride llama." Pause. Sigh. "Spits." Weird....Clair mouthed to Molly, rolling her eyes.
Molly glanced over her shoulder and lifted her eyebrows in silent question. 'Llama?' she mouthed back and it was really hard not to laugh at that. Justin was dreaming about llamas? That was pretty hilarious.
She shook her head before she got distracted, braids bouncing against her shoulder, and went back to work. Shaving a boy's legs was harder than her own, because Kyle had thicker hair than she did, so she had to use short little strokes. And she was careful not to nick him, because that would definitely wake him up!
She shaved one leg, wiping the razor on the cloth she had stuck in her pocket, and then moved on to the other leg. Kyle muttered something, head turning and a hand flopping across his face.
Clair shrugged almost done with Justin's left leg now. The siblings had never met a llama that their mother had wanted them to ride and she wondered just what kind of dream her brother was having. Or maybe she didn't want to know...Clair was suddenly very happy that she wasn't a dreamwalker. Finishing up with Justin's left leg, Clair pulled a disgusted look as she studied the razor. Boys were gross. How could they manage to be gross and cute at the same time? Wiping the razor off, she moved on to her brother's right leg. Justin shifted then and Clair had to move away to avoid being kicked. Urgh! Molly was lucky to have taken Kyle. It seemed that the other boy wasn't so...restless a sleeper.
This razor definitely would never be used again after shaving Kyle's legs. Molly set to work on the other leg, working the razor over his skin to get rid of all the hair. It was funny to see smooth legs on a boy. Would be funnier if there was proper light to see, but they didn't want to chance it.
The chicken rustled its feathered and made a little noise before it settled back to sleep. Molly had to grin. Who kept a chicken as a pet? Well Justin, apparently.
When she finally finished up with Kyle's legs, she wrapped the razor in the cloth and tucked it at the bottom of the bag. 'I'll start getting his pants' she mouthed to the other girl, creeping across the room to the dresser that was probably Kyle's, since it was on the same side of the room as his bed. She quietly, slowly slid drawers out until she found pants, and then started pulling them out and shoving them in the bag.
She glanced into the dark corner where the chicken was. Clair tried to image the look on their mother's face when Justin actually came home for the Summer with a chicken in tow. Yup, she would like to be there when he explained that to Mrs Montgomery-Andrews. Nodding quickly to Molly, she quickly finished up shaving Justin's legs and then picked up the bag. Clair was about to go and retrive her brother's pants when another idea struck her. Moving quickly she crossed the room and put the razor she had been using somewhere near Kyle's hand. She knew how air headed her brother was, and Justin accusing Kyle of sleep shaving was a very big possibility.
And then she was moving to her brother's dresser and then shoving his pants inside. There were a lot of pairs and Clair wrinkled her nose because Justin was always teasing her about the amouth of clothes that she had. "Done!" She mouthed to Molly and then nodded at the door.
Molly had to clap a hand over her mouth to stiffle a giggle, and she nodded her head quickly as if to say that that was a very good idea. It would cause a little extra chaos in the room, that was for sure.
She stuffed pants into the bag, not worrying about wrinkling them. It wasn't like they were all neatly folded or anything! Kyle being a boy and all. She checked all the drawers and the floor as well, making sure she got all the pants so that all Kyle would have left were shorts. Then she nodded her head and quickly made a break for the door, opening it and holding it for Clair before she scampered out into the hallway.
Once they were both out, she scurried down the hall towards the girls dorm wing. Only there did she let a little giggle escape.
She stuck her tongue out at Justin's sleeping form. Ha! This will show him that messing with a girl's hair was a very, very bad thing to do. Hefting her bag, Clair felt like some sort of burgular as she exited the room and scrampered down the hallway after Molly. And once they were safetly in the girl's dorm wing, Clair sagged against the wall and let her own giggles join the other girl's. "That was amazing!" She managed to say, her words coming out in bursts because she could not hold the laughter in for much longer.
"Who knew they would be such heavy sleepers." She rolled her eyes and continued with. "I think a whole elephant marching band could have crashed through and they wouldn't have noticed."
"That was hilarious," Molly agreed with a giggle. "I wish we could be there in the morning when they wake up!" Because that would surely be a riot when the boys woke up to realize their leg hair was gone and so were their pants.
"I'll stash this bag under my bed," she said with another giggle. "I can take those too, if you want." Since Clair was probably where Justin would look first - well, after looking at Kyle!
"I can probably get Arthur to take a picture." Clair said then, her eyes gleaming impishly. Arthur was well poised to take an early morning picture, what with living in the boy's dorm and all. Plus he'd probably be the first one that Justin would call. As if Arthur had any magical powers to cause hair re-growth. "But I wonder how long it'll take for them to actually venture out of their rooms." Clair smirked. Not long since they had to eat and things. And then there were classes to go to.
"Are you sure your roommate won't mind?" Clair had thought to just stash Justin's pants under her own bed. But Molly was right, it would be the first, or rather second, place that Justin would look.
"They're boys, they'll have to eat," Molly said with a grin, unconscious voicing Clair's thoughts. They were on the same wavelength.
She reached out and took the bag Clair was holding. "I'll shove it under my bed, she won't even notice!" she said. Keeping her voice still mostly quiet, because it was after curfew. She didn't want to get caught out in the hall.
"Be sure to wake up early so we don't miss the fall out," she said with a laugh.
They do have black holes for stomachs." Slowly she got to her feet and grinned impishly at Molly. Impish grins and giggles were the order of the day...or night...or early morning. Clair let the other girl have the bag and nodded, making her braid bounce. "Ok...I'll just do up a journal entry in the morning tell them that I have their pants hostage." And that she was only going to give them back after a small fee was paid. A fee that didn't necessarily have anything to do with cash. "We can plan out the dumb things we'll want them to go through to get their pants back." Clair said then, wirggling her eyebrows comically. Oh this had been such a good plan. Impulsively she reached over and took Molly's hand, the one that wasn't holding the bags.
"Thanks." She said, in that wide eyed earnest way that she had. "This was your plan and it was awesome. And it's great that you helped me pull it off. And helped me with my hair. And drawing."
"Let them panic first though," Molly advised with a sly little smile. This was too much fun. And Justin totally deserved it. Kyle... well, that was what he got for being in the way! In the line of fire. Or in this case, in the line of shaving cream and razors.
Her smile turned sweet then. "Oh anytime. That's what friends are for, after all! And it's been fun. Drawing and shaving boys. All that." It was fun to have someone with things in common, to be able to hang out and chat and have fun and be silly.
"Yes!" Clair covered her mouth with a hand to muffle the sounds of her laughter. In her head she could just imagine Justin waking up and freaking out. "They'll take the cue from that chicken and run around flapping and panicking themselves." She did feel a bit sorry for Kyle though. Since he hadn't done anything wrong...but well too bad for him that he was Justin's roommate.
Clair nodded in agreement and squeezed Molly's hand gently one more time before letting go. Spending time with Molly had been really fun and more then that it had taken her mind off her problems with River and more then that, it was fun not to always gush about boyfriends or boys. At least in the nonshaving context. "And with comic con coming up, at least we'll be able to get away from any sort of revange they might come up with." Because surely Justin would want revange.
Molly returned the squeeze. "Next time we should glue some feathers to their heads so they can match their 'baby'," she suggested impishly. Because of course there would be a next time! She knew the boys wouldn't take it and not retaliate. And when they did... well they'd be ready for them!
"I can't wait for the con! I've never been to New York before. It sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun." The con, the city, staying at Clair's place. All of the above.
"Okay, we should probably get to our rooms. Meet you for late breakfast in the morning?"
Clair smirked at that mental image. "What a cute little family that would be." She replied. Though she had to wonder if they'd have a chance to do it. Surely the boys would be more weary of people sneaking into their rooms at night. No...wait...this was Justin they were talking about. "After the con, I could show you guys around." Clair said then, smiling happily. She loved her home city and she knew a lot of places that weren't necessarily posh and things like that.
"I'll be there." With her laptop so that they could check and see if the boys had made funny and/or frantic journal entries. Nodding to Molly, Clair slipped her room key out of her pocket. "See you in the morning Molly." She said as she turned towards the door. "And thanks again!"
"Night!" Molly called out with a grin. Then she headed down the hall to her own room (which wasn't far at all!). Sliding the key into the lock, she let herself into her room. Shutting the door behind her, she went in, and quickly shoved the bags under her bed. Then changed into her pjs, and curled up between the sheets, with Mouse hopping out to sprawl alongside of her.
