Who ? Braylen and O Where ? Braylen's room When ? Tuesday late morning What ? Some errands aren't as much fun as others.
O had left Mr. Smith's office once he'd finished some filing to start making lunch despite the fact that it was a good forty-five minutes before the usual time he began that particular task. He didn't exactly lie to Mr. Smith when he told him that was where he was going because it was what he was going to end up doing, eventually, he just had a small errand first!
When O had started his day it was in optimism. He woke up refreshed, ate a large breakfast fit for two people and drank nearly an entire gallon of water. It was a great deal of food but it seemed to satisfy the oubliette his stomach had turned into over the course of the night. He was proud of himself for the way he behaved with Kian the night before. He'd managed to somehow protect himself when he'd been too weak to even lift a finger and better yet, when Mr. Travers had left his room O thought he wasn't even upset with him!
Of course all of his buoyancy met an untimely and truly tragic end at the hands of Mateo Holt that morning. While Mr. Smith's sons usually bullied him today it seemed worse, mostly on account of the fact that the youngest of the brother's had been in a downright frightening temper ever since the weekend. When O had finally gotten to the root of the problem, frustrated and on edge, he was equally as riled by the cause of his two day incarceration with misery. He'd kept up a pleasant front with Mr. Smith since it wasn't his fault and the last thing that needed to happen was to get Stargate's leader involved in something so petty, but as soon as he could O excused himself under the best pretense he could think of.
O wasn't sure if Braylen was the type of person to get up before noon and even though he was upset with him, he didn't want to wake him up. It was nearly ten twenty though, late enough that almost anyone would have gotten out of bed by now. Stepping off the lift and onto Braylen's floor he found his door and knocked lightly just in case. Really, he was more than likely the most conscientious angry person on base!
