Who ? O and Braylen Where ? The gym When ?Monday night What ? Ability practice!
It was rare for the gym to be empty but when O happened across it as such it was too much to pass up. There wasn't another room in the whole of the Project that was like it when it was completely vacant. It was black, a near complete absence of light when the lights were off and ridiculously still. While some people may go a little mad in an environment devoid of so many senses, O enjoyed the quiet, the lack of any discernible shape or audible noise. He found it relaxing, soothing, and a fine way to de-stress after a long day.
He was sitting there in the middle of the high-ceiling room, barefoot on the shiny wooden floor in seiza, his legs tucked beneath him as he kneeled on the floor. He'd spread his fingers out over his knees and concentrated on his breathing until he felt his body begin to relax. When he felt completely at ease, O began pulling water out of the air around him in spheres, joining them together into larger ones when the number became too difficult to manage, over and over again until his lips turned dry from the lack of moisture in the air. His eyes closed, even though it was too dark in the gym with all the lights off to see anything anyway, he concentrated on maintaining the now six globes of water while remaining as relaxed as possible.
The last time he'd done this, he'd held all of them for half an hour and today he was going to try for forty minutes. As far as his Hydrokinesis went, his stamina was his greatest weakness and he had every intention of erasing that handicap.
