Thread: Zener: Amory/Jean-Luc/Staff Who: Amory, Jean-Luc, Any Staff Members When: 1/6, early afternoon. Where: Zener. What: Getting rid of the kid.
Amory wasn't cut out to be someones guardian. He couldn't even watch TV without falling asleep, how he was supposed to watch an entire teenage boy? The kid knew how to go to the bathroom and feed himself, and apparently entertain himself by watching people undress from afar, so why was he under his nails so much? Because he took up half his couch. He took money to feed. Granted, it was Jaz's money and food, technically, and his couch as well. Which was what made him so mad. If anyone was mooching off of his friends it was going to be him. Not some snotty mouthed french kid from the wrong side of the tracks from the top side of North America.
So he went out on Monday night in a nice suit, gambled at some clubs, and hypnotized anyone with a Rolex or diamonds and pawned that shit in the morning. He'd then stuck all the money he got - thousands of dollars, in a plastic bucket on Jaz's kitchen table. He told Jean-Luc to get dressed and grab his things. Screw Jadyn saying he could come in for a consultation, or whatever those freaks at the school did that was protocol. The kid wasn't staying there any longer.
He took Jaz's motorcycle and when the kid refused to get on he'd suggested that he sing that horrible 90s Mmmbop song over and over, in his own mind so Amory wouldn't have to hear it, until the kid tried to bang his head into the wall to make it stop. Then he got on the bike and they made it to Zener in record time. Maybe Jaz wouldn't realize his motorcycle was gone. Maybe Amory should have planted the thought in his head ages ago that he was allowed to take it, but he didn't like to take advantage of his friends when he could help it.
Amory had never been to Zener before. Drove by it, sure. Heard everyone talk about it, yes. Walked up it's walk and in the front doors? No. All the while he had Jean-Luc by the collar of his shirt (which was a white dress shirt of Amory's that was too big for the kid) dragging him like a parent might if a kid had been really bad.
