Who ? Vaughan and Colin Where ? Colin's room When ? Saturday late afternoon What ? Reluctant reading lessons
Vaughan wanted to go see Colin about as much as he'd like to get run over by a car...or start reading lessons, for that matter. Still, he'd rather be forced into education than to have to deal with a weepy, red-eyed blubbering Tory so he assured himself that the decision was still his own. He really wouldn't mind living out in the woods or in town, passing through homeless shelters at night so the fact that he was now standing outside of Colin's room trying to force himself to knock was purely selfless and sacrificing on his part.
Knowing as much did little to make him feel better about it, though. Every time he thought of the man who would be on the other side of that door, his hands clenched into fists and he had to swallow the urge to punch something. He didn't want to get thrown off of the Zener campus, that was for sure, not when Tory was there and the rest of the members of the psychic web. He wasn't sure if the administration would kick him out, for the sake of his friends, but he also didn't want to chance it.
Gritting his teeth and looking grumpy and scowly and hateful, Vaughan knocked woodenly on the door and waited for Colin to answer.
