"It's just a series," Gatsby just barely more than muttered, still quite modest about his own artwork. "I mean... they all make statements, I guess, but."
He let his eyes linger on a larger canvas he was working on. The main focus of the painting thus far was a slightly abstract rendition of a girl he had cut from a Nylon magazine back issue, using the clothes she was modeling to resemble a type of superhero. "I'm superimposing different images on that one," he mentioned, pointing to it. "Overlays of comic book cels, and pictures of historical figures and whatnot."
Smiling slyly, he turned his gaze back to Jack, popping a fry into his mouth almost comically. "Have any idea what the statement is?"
