Luca, for the most part, understood Jack's ailing finanical abilities. During her youth her family had been pretty well-off, but, ever since her dad took off, it was just her mother scrounging up the money to send her to Presley. They weren't suffering, by any means, but it wasn't as if she could write home for extra cash on a whim. "His parents are both teachers," Luca said, matter-of-factly. "If I've learn one thing from each of my teachers throughout the years, it's that they don't make much money." Letting out a slight laugh at that inalienable complaint, she shrugged and dropped the subject, letting the conversation move forward.
At Jackson's confirming question about Gatsby being out, Luca just let out a short burst of laugh, raising an eyebrow and tilting her head slightly. "Have you seen him, Jack? Yes. He's totally out." Listening bemusedly as her friend went on about 'making it a date', Luca looked up at the ceiling absently before snapping her neck back toward Jack when he brought up the day of the show. Confirmed in her own mind, she spread her hands apart in a 'there ya go' sort of gesture, grinning excitedly. "Totally a date. I mean, can you imagine all the guys there who are going to be on Valentine's dates? At a Rufus show? Yeah. Even if it's not a date now, it will become one once you arrive."
