*very pleased that Y/K's honesty dynamic comes through*

Aunt Ine: now that you mention her, my mental image of her is pretty close to Tachibana's Aunt Eiko in Antique Bakery v2. And I just reread her rant to Tachibana about her daughter's divorce, and if I end up writing a ficlet about Yoshizumi and Tachibana being distant cousins it WILL be all your fault.

(Yoshizumi: "Look, anyone who's spent any time with my cousin Tachibana and his crew would conclude that romance isn't worth the trouble. Let's drop the subject and let me buy you a pastry, ok? Aren't those hiyoko cute?")

he might think that Yoshizumi's initial cluelessness about his feelings for Kenzaki would make a harmless but amusing story. He sure would. Heh. I had in mind someone more minor than even Tweedledee and Tweedledum, since by the time this takes place (at least 2-3 movies after Love Reborn), I'm thinking that they'd have no excuse for lapses in discretion where anything connected to their employer was concerned (or, rather, that Kenzaki would not forgive any such lapses). I think the more likely candidates would be some of the (by then) more junior hosts, film crew members, family members, and possibly even a former neighbor or journalist. (Mochimune probably cast his net wide, so much that it would be impossible for Yoshizumi to track down every source, never mind being in a position where there would be any point in schooling them on keeping their mouths shut -- e.g., I don't see Yoshizumi going back to the Shisa workshop in Okinawa to give grief to an overly chatty sculptor's assistant about the day an actor took his time selecting just the right pair of statues. But sitting down with, say, a mischievous Kenzaki nephew, and then suddenly feeling like he's about to channel Aunt Ine ... heh. (Poor Yoshizumi - the things we put him through! ~_^ )
