I like how this implies that O&K are together but still have a tempestuous relationship in the future, which I can see, since they both like a bit of drama in their personal lives. It kind of reminds me of the main couple in Love Control and the scene in the second volume where the bartender tells Okumura something like, "You'd better hurry and make up with him, because nobody likes watching your lovers' quarrels, Boss." ^_^
Loved Yoshizumi's rant about "nauseating, love-deranged fools," and loved how Kenzaki is able to calm him down. It was a very sweet, funny, and sexy note to end the story on.
In short, I loved the whole thing! I really loved this glimpse into Yoshizumi and Kenzaki's possible future, and I really can see them being together like this a few years down the road. And damn you, now I may have to write a sequel someday with Yoshi and Miya-chan starring in Mochimune's movie! (Unless, of course, you end up writing it first...)
There was a recent kerfuffle in (general) fandom over certain pro writers very vehemently voicing their opposition to fanfic, finding it offensive that fans are playing with their characters and making them do things they would never do in canon. And while I can sort of understand that gut reaction, I find it so cool that someone like you would want to play around in "my" universe (technically, my version of Nitta-sensei's universe) and have the characters do things I hadn't imagined, but which seem perfectly logical and make me think, "Now why didn't I think of that?"
Well, I'm done gushing for now, though I may come back and comment on something I forgot later. Now I'm going to back to savor this fic and giggle and squee over all the wonderful moments again!
