Drunken Master (Traditional Chinese: 醉拳 ; Jyutping: Zeoi3 Kyun4; Mandarin Pinyin: Zuì Quán ; literally drunken fist) is a 1978 Hong Kong martial arts-action-comedy film directed by Yuen Woo-ping, and starring Jackie Chan, billed as "Jacky Chan", Yuen Siu Tien (aka Simon Yuen), and Hwang Jang-Lee. The film was Chan's most successful to date at the Hong Kong box office, earning two and a half times the amount made by his previous film, Snake in the Eagle's Shadow. It is an early example of the comedic kung fu style for which he became famous.
