A/N: Being a late 16th/early 17th century pastiche. I had to set this some years later, actually, making it late Elizabethan, because I discovered that the Renaissance wasn't all that hot on Alchemy. This piece wouldn't be what it is if I hadn't been able to consult Peter Ackroyd's "The House of Doctor Dee" and some rather... odd... treatises.katilara and erastes graciously offered their skills as betae. Kimberly is Kimblee here, and any remaining mistakes are my own, obviously. Enjoy! :)
