I totally assume he'll have access to most of the power she's mastered permanently. She hasn't actually sought out learning anything much more complicated than being able to identify different elements of the ground by feel (because dirt and rock totally have a different feeling, I'm sure) and shaping stone/dirt like clay. Eventually, she's going to get more technical and powerful, but she's pretty passive and artsy. She doesn't need to know how to fight (yet).
I think their relationship started out by her being annoying and just following around folks she thought were interesting. Lorna was a shy and quiet child. Kind of always assumed she had a crush on Pietro for a while until she got to know him and now she's like the kid sister they never had. At the moment, there's no solid reason for them to believe that they're at all related, but I've left the door open for that to maybe happen eventually with her history. Marvel canon says they're siblings, but I always thought it was dumb that that she was grouped into that just because she had the same powers as Magneto. I figure that's something for way later anyway.
Wanda and Lorna kind of became friends after an accident involving one of Wanda's freak outs and absorbing some of Lorna's calm nature. The relationship was encouraged simply because Lorna wasn't family (haha) so the staff have made an effort to make sure that they got placed together whenever the school did things, which probably contributed to the kid-sister-following-us-around habit.
Lorna is an artist and a pseudo-pagan/free-spirit type. She doesn't let things bother her, if she can help it, and she has worked with Irene to go from shy child to happy, active adult. She loves anything involving dirt, climbing, and nature. Currently pursuing a relationship with Alex Summers, who is 10 years her senior, but Vaf is AWOL and so I don't know if that's going to continue. I hope it does, but you never know with RP.
