Even if being here ended up wrecking the band he'd been part of back in London and he had to start again (an idea which he found agonizing), music was still his passion and the only thing he could imagine filling up his life. At the mention of Alison Blaire, he paused and smiled somewhat sheepishly. He wasn't the type to 'squee', but the fact that the girl was here had given him a bit of a shock the first time he'd heard it. Luckily, this wasn't the first time and Julian would never get to see the dumbfounded fanboy stare the revelation had initially earned. "Not yet," he said, "Not in the flesh. But...it is sort of mad. I mean, Alison bloody Blaire. Girl's got some serious talent, even if she had to go through that bubblegum phase to get there." He considered the other boy for a moment, then asked, "You two are mates?"
