It occurred to Jono that, if he'd ever studied or worked hard a day in his academic life, hearing a mutant prodigy dismiss the difficulty of advanced everything might rub him the wrong way. As it was, though, he just shook his head and grinned at the lucky bastard. "No, yeah, I'm sure it's a breeze," he said, finally moving to sit on the vacant bed across from Julian's, "Sounds like you've got plenty of options, anyway." Assuming that the whole mutant thing didn't get in the way. He paused, pushing the uncomfortable thought out of his mind, and then joked wryly, "Me? if the whole musician thing doesn't pan out...I foresee a lot of shitty part-times and busking."
This notion didn't seem to bother him, though, and he leaned forward to prop his elbows against his knees without missing a beat. "You never told me your name, by the way."
