There had been a number of times when Yana had thought about tessering to Kitty. No matter how long it might take to find her. Each time, though, she had managed to talk herself out of it. Kitty had left for a reason, and she'd come home. Yana had never doubted that latter fact. It was simply a matter of waiting. Besides the years when she was away had given Yana the opportunity to test herself a little more. No more big brother and best friend to guard her from things.
Or keep her away from the slightly more nefarious residents of the mansion and all their captivating little tricks, many of which Yana had sweet talked them into teaching her. There was something about pouty lips and big, round blue eyes that people had trouble saying no to.
She had decided not to be angry over it. Kitty hadn't been abandoning her; shit had gotten really super heavy and the other woman had left to sort it out. That made sense to Yana. Even though she wasn't typically a big fan of physical contact--that didn't involve fighting--the look on Kitty's face was enough to make her throw that out the window, and in moment she was rushing over to wrap her arms around her in much the same way she had when she was a little girl. "Yeah. Someone passed me a note about seeing you. I'm ditching Madrox's class. He'll understand."
