He'd known exactly what to do for her and she'd snapped out of her state of catatonic excitement. "Chicken and dumplings," she smirked faintly. Yeah, she knew she was being kind of stereotypical but it was food. And it was fresh.
She shifted the chair until she could lean on his bedside better, facing him, "Must be awfully boring in here. Especially now that your chatting mate's been booted out. But I'll try to come in more often if you want me to."
