"That depends on what era you're talking about... Bela Lugosi of Dracula fame? Oh heck no. Can't knock him. As soon as he started talking to Ed Wood? Kill it with fire." Dorcas had very particular opinions when it came to the greats. There were certain points where they should've just stopped but did they? No.
Dorcas reached up to try and pinch Pete's cheek at his answer, "So cute in your secrets. You should've taken Home Ec. or something." She paused, watching him start the first taste and breathed a sigh of relief at the compliment, "Thank you. It's really... quite a simple recipe. Just a little salt and pepper, onion and a touch of garlic... That sort of thing." Roasted in a slow cooker but that would indicate she had planned this... Noooo. Not at all.
"The fiction part I read because I like it," she said as she ate a chunk of soft potato. Mm. Potato. She loved potatoes. Unlike him, she couldn't just shove stuff onto a fork. It was a mixture of OCD and training so she was a very dainty, particular eater. "The history and myth... Well, because I like it and because I'm studying it on the side on my own. It's not like there's a course for it unless I want to get into Demonology and that's way too much into the religion of it all. And it's not even taught here so there's that too."
