"Oh how unfortunate. I don't think I can be your friend any more if there aren't any diamonds," she rolled her eyes, obviously not meaning it. Dorcas had enough jewelry to last her a lifetime. Not that she was loaded down with diamonds mind you but that was entirely beside the point. Anyhow.
She blinked at the pillow then settled it by the arm of the couch nearest to her though she'd been tempted to fling it at Pete's back since that was the largest target on him. Of course then there'd be pillows flying everywhere and knocking tupperware over and general chaos... She didn't want any more chaos at all whatsoever thank you very much. "I've been spending most of my time trying to sneak into the medical lab but Dr. Berkowitz is kind of annoyed with me... So. Distraction."
She really didn't want to talk about it. It was obvious from her tone and the way she held herself that it just made her feel... awful. Guilty. Depressed. Sick. All those things at once. "There's nothing wrong with rejecting sunlight," Dorcas stated, faking sounding insulted. Opening the baggy with the forks, she set his on his tupperware then put the handle of her's between her teeth. Now it was time to open her container of dinner and out rushed the delicious smell of properly cooked beef.
She set the lid on the table in such a way that it lined up perfectly with the container. Seeming to freeze for a moment, she then opened up her cookie tupperware and did the same with that lid. Then she turned the lids so the tabs were pointing in another direction but the same one. Then she turned them again before sort of shaking out her hands and muttering, "Sorry... Um. Ignore that please."
