"Yeah, that's why I'm letting the school handle it for me." she answered and breathed out a small, huffed sigh. "All of the paperwork confuses me, but ya know how it is." She shrugged then slid down off of the railing so that she could turn and lean against it, cocking her hips out for balance, resting folded arms on the metal.
She understood why he wanted to change the subject, death and her powers were never really something anyone wanted to talk about. Even the school counselor had declared her 'okay' and prescribed her something to help her sleep at night.
"I do mostly fingerpainting." she grinned almost impishly at him, then shrugged. I just sketch, I'm not very good, but I like doing it. I especially like charcoal, the way it smudges can be so pretty."
