"Isn't that what the upperclassmen are for?" Ben replied, grinning a bit. He was joking, but there was a momentary mental image of poor Piotr Rasputin trying to keep a handle on the student body on his own, but he didn't think that the whole teaching staff would be up for a night out either way. At the very least, not everyone would want to spend a night out hanging around people they worked with every day. Ben didn't have any such hangups. "Don't we have an emergency supply of knock-out gas on the premises somewhere?"
He shrugged a shoulder. "I'm sure we can figure something out. I wouldn't mind something smaller either, or at least asking around to see who might be interested overall. There's always the potential existence of a staff member or two who are even more married to their work than we are." Doubtful, but possible, though Sarah came pretty darned close.
