Ben didn't know how comfortable he was with allowing large groups of outsiders onto the campus on a more regular basis, but he didn't see the harm in doing it every once in a while. Especially if they were careful about who they were letting in. As great an idea as mingling was, there were still a lot of dangerous, harmful people who would jump at the chance to have a free pass into a mutant school. It was a sad truth.
"Some women are certainly more forgiving than others." Ben agreed, and really wasn't in much of a better boat. The one real relationship he'd had in the past ten years had ended in divorce. Thankfully, his grandparents weren't pushy on the subject of him finding someone else, though that didn't mean he didn't think about it from time to time.
