Pete was testing out the flashlights, making sure that the batteries in each one were still charged enough that they both lit brightly. Satisfied in the end, he left both of them on the table for now, moving toward the pile of blankets he'd brought out, separating one from the others. It was a large, coal gray super-soft plush blanket, his favorite, and he definitely planned on using that to cover up with.
"Mm." He muttered in reply, nodding a bit. "But not so tired that I can't make forts." He figured it probably wasn't going to be long enough to house the entire expanse of his legs, normal tents rarely were, but if they left one end of it open he didn't see much of a problem with it. Currently he was working on folding the thickest of the comforters he'd brought out in half, big enough to cover the couch cushions when they'd finally fashioned them into a square on the floor. He did that first, careful not to disrupt her work on their ceiling.
when he stood again, he went back to the couch, tugging one of the pillows out of its case, then nabbed Lockheed off the armrest. He fashioned both items until it looked like the dragon was lounging comfortable in the pillow case like a sleeping bag, then wagged the plushie a little at Kitty. "Are you going to tell us a scary story?"
