"Yeah, me either. I.. I don't like not being a part of a team, working to preserve the peace, to help people, protect them, no matter if they're mutant or human." she answered and shrugged. Kitty wasn't sure there was a niche for her that didn't involve some level of danger. She hated it and loved it at the same time. It was just one of those things. She got bored and felt useless if there wasn't any and yet she.. felt like she wanted things to quiet down so she could breathe when there was.
"Oh good, no blue pantyhose and windbreakers then." she answered with a chuckle. "That's good, I look pretty good in plain black. Sets off my hair and skin." She puffed her chest a bit and then started to giggle, clearly she was teasing rather than being arrogant. "Well, better than I do in gold lame... anyway." She had tried it, when she was much younger, she looked like the 80s threw up on her. It had been awful.
"I suppose that's true. I don't really think about things in terms of nutrition, just in matters of how much extra running I'll have to do." she answered with a laugh and shrugged. "I run.. for the joy of running most of the time. I don't really consider it training as much as it's a chance to let everything go and just.. breathe." she seemed to be kind of zen for a moment, smiling to herself a bit as she dabbed at the chocolate, thinking about running through the salt and pine air. "Wh..what?" she sputtered when he said she was delicious. Her cheeks turning an improbable shade of crimson. She quickly dipped her head, hiding in her hair. "Yeah well.. chocolate has that effect."
